Course Description: This course is for any person who is concerned about knowing what to do if there is a medical emergency. It is suitable for anyone who has a responsibility to act correctly when in charge of others. For example, baby sitters, nannies, volunteer coaches, teachers, teachers aids, au pairs, etc.

Guidelines: This course follows the latest recommendations as outlined by the American Heart Association.

Delivery Mode: This is a multimedia educational course on a CD ROM.

Content: This course is broken into easy to access chapters. In this course you learn How to make sure the scene is safe How to initiate the “Chain of Survival” What to say to the 911 operator How to deal with choking How to perform CPR Included for Free: The national CPR Test Test yourself as often as you wish to see how much you know If you submit your results, you will be issued a recognized CPR Certificate.

Certificate: Included in this course is the national CPR test. You can test yourself as often as you like to see how much you know. When you pass the test you earn a recognized CPR Certificate. It is valid for 1 year and is valid in all 50 states.

Certificate Requirements Met: If you choose to complete and submit your test results you will be issued with a CPR Card. This course and certificate meet the requirements of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) for Lay Person CPR.

Computer Requirements: A pc computer running a windows operating system with a Pentium III processor or above and a CD drive is required. You must have access to an internet connection to a) register the program, and b) to submit test results. A dial up connection is sufficient.
