Course Description: This course is appropriate for any person who should take AED training or who wants to take AED training. This includes any person who owns an AED, any person who works near an AED and any person who wants to know how to use an AED.

Guidelines: This course follows the latest recommendations as outlined by the American Heart Association.

Requirements Met: This course and certificate meet the requirements of OSHA. Anybody who takes this course will be protected under the federal amendment to the Good Samaritan Act.

Delivery Mode: This is a multimedia educational course on a CD ROM.

Content: 1) The course teaches a lay person how to properly use any AED.
                 2) This course contains a refresher on how to perform CPR.

Computer Requirements: A pc computer running a windows operating system with a Pentium III processor or above and a CD drive is required. You must have access to an internet connection to a) register the program, and b) to submit test results. A dial up connection is sufficient.
